Online bill payment
There are different platforms to pay bills online like banks, mobile apps, digital wallets, etc. Following are the steps to pay bills online:
Via bank apps:
- Download your bank’s mobile app(HBL, Meezan Bank, MCB, etc.).
- Log in to your account using a username or email and password.
- Select the option from your main menu like utility bill payment.
- Choose the utility company GEPCO from the menu.
- Enter the reference number found on your bill. If you have not found visit the GEPCO bill online. There is a detailed procedure for finding the reference number.
- Check your bill amount carefully and other details.
- After checking all the details confirm the bill payment and you will receive a confirmation message in a few seconds.

Via Easypaisa/JazzCash:
- First of all download Easypaisa/JazzCash and open your Easypaisa/JazzCash app.
- Login to your account, If you haven’t an account make a new account. After login go to the bill payment section appearing on the main menu.
- Select your bill type ‘electricity’ and choose GEPCO
- A box will appear to fill reference number, fill in your 14-digit reference number carefully without any space.
- Confirm your bill amount and other payment details.
- After checking, confirm payment and you will receive a confirmation message

Physical methods of bill payment
If you don’t understand the above method then don’t worry as you can also pay the bill physically. If you do have not an electricity meter apply your application online and visit https://enc.com.pk/. The following are the physical methods for bill payment:
Via Bank:
- Visit a branch of the bank nearest to you e.g. Meezan Bank, UBL, HBL, etc.
- Bring your GEPCO bill copy with you.
- Fill out a deposit slip if required.
- Present the bill and the payment amount to the cashier.
- Receive a stamped receipt as proof of payment.
Via Post Office:
- Go to the nearest post office.
- Present your GEPCO bill and make the payment at the counter.
- Collect the stamped receipt after the payment.
Via utility bill collection center:
- Visit designated utility bill collection centers (sometimes found at larger grocery stores or commercial plazas).
- Provide your GEPCO bill for processing.
- Pay the amount and receive your receipt.
